Near here

A nice view of a portion of the upper Paradise Valley, eventually leading south to Yellowstone.  Fall is here, I think we've seen the last of 70 degrees, and pretty soon last of 60's, then 50's, etc. A month from now I'll post pics of snow in they yard, to everyone's boredom. But it's nice now, here.

    1. Autumn is as you've described, a time of reflection and pondering. But, if you're young enough, the feeling of a Fall day stepping outside, looking at the leaves that will have to be raked, or the fish who are trying to eat everything in sight before freeze-over.

    1. Good to hear from you, my friend. Love to hear about your plans. I'm going west to have some 'procedures' done next week, will be in touch afterwards.

  3. A great study. I see two kinds of fence. Does the water go under the road? Did you climb the hill to take the picture or is there another road higher.

    1. The river you see is the Yellowstone, the road stays to the west of the river until it gets near Livingston. No, my buddy took it with his camera from the road you can see in the right of the picture....it climbs a bit from where you see.

  4. Actually, not boredom for me. I like being reminded that it's different elsewhere.
