It was under vastly improved road conditions but still a great adventure. Six weeks up and back. Many fond memories. :)troutbirderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14087811292280881959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5524881400632979653.post-11557586719565290782011-03-27T13:23:58.548-07:002011-03-27T13:23:58.548-07:00Ms. Crow (or perhaps The Lady who was known as Lou...Ms. Crow (or perhaps The Lady who was known as Lou)
Two summers later I was back up the Dempster, and one night we camped up on a hilltop. The other is Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart.

I was in junior high when I first read Service's The Cremation of Sam McGee. I also like The Shooting of Dan McGrew, and The Rolling Stone. Another I have read, and hold dear, is The Stretcher Bearer.

The song, North to Alaska, sung by Johhny Horton, first fueled my desire to see Alaska years ago. To see the Aurora borealis in Alaska is on my bucket list. The Crowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04846997590157958766noreply@blogger.com
