Remember the sunny pictures from the last post? Here's what it looks like outside this morning:
Yep, it's snowing. June 17th. I couldn't make this up. The Saudi students living next door for the summer just walked by on their way up to class, looking like deer in the headlights.
Wow, it's been dry here. Don't envy you, I took my snow tires off.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I remember when the company asked me for the car back for a morning to do that.
DeleteI never saw any real snow in my year there, slush on the road was about it.
I wonder if those students will research climate more thoroughly when choosing next time. I hope you're done with it too.
ReplyDeleteWho knows what criteria they have, they didn't research the access to live lambs, which the need for their diet....
DeleteGood grief. Where do you live? Antarctica? :)
ReplyDeleteI never have known that amount of snow in June here. Maybe a few flakes in May, exceptionally.
Nah, SW Montana. Snow here in June is not a rarity...latest I've seen in town was 8" on June 21st. First snow is September, often the 1st.
DeleteSuch is life.
Yup that Montana. I remember a Fourth of July "blizzard" on the highway south of Big Sky. Didn't have my skis with me though.....
ReplyDeleteYeah, old timers here talk about snow on the fourth...we're at 6,000 ft at my house, it's possible any time.
DeleteWhoa. I have no words.
ReplyDeleteHeh....it's a nice place, SAW...and lots of nuts. You should move here, start a practice.
