Show and Tell Monday

So first this morning, after no coffee and being taxied by the oldest daughter, we arrived here:

I got one of these:

A nice tech injected a bit of this:
I sat for a bit, then had a nice rest here:

I got out, and a beefy nurse flogged me on one of these:

I had a cup of coffee, a bite of some semi-healthy pastry, then back to the odd table seen above, after which I looked at this:

My myocardium, in it's various states of perfusion and non-perfusion.

What did you do today?

  1. Wow! Looks like extraterrestrial light code, alien alphabet or something.

Loosely interpreted, does it say this guy is doing better than last time we beamed him up, or guess we'd better drop him back where we found him, next to that cow we did last week?

Hope you are doing better, Mike. Nothing I did today comes close to matching what you went through, dude!

    2. kidnaping people is one thing, Martha, but absconding with cows is beyond the pale.

  2. Safe to say most of us did have our coffee first thing.

    1. I recommend crullers from Krispy Kreme....

And the test results were pretty good news, thanks for asking.

  4. Well, today we put down a ferret. Talked to my born again friend, Job, who is having something of a crisis of faith.

Your day seemed a bit more interesting, and I'll be intrigued to hear the rresults.

    1. Turns out the results mean I can start a graduated exercise program, and likely be on the rivers this spring and summer. Can't get much better than that.

  5. My chemistry is from the '60s. They injected you with something radioactive or fluorescent? Couldn't make much of the molecular chart except it's not quite propane. Hope everything comes out ok or at least correctable. All my best wishes, Mike, and don't let go of those treadmill handrails. Thing nearly flang me out the window.

    1. A radioisotope, yep. Half-life around 6 hours, so have stopped glowing.
I've got some good stories about NBA players and treadmills, Geo.

    1. Yeah, those guys in Cleveland (or were you at the one closer to your home?) are pretty stuffy.
