I have taken those walks before and they are lovely, indeed.
Yep, the only noise the wind in the trees.
Beautiful photos, Mike. Pumphouse thermometer read 110 here so I stayed cooped up. High elevation trees reaching for the sky are a refreshing sight. Thank you!
110....jeezus. Ain't right for anywhere near the Bay Area.
I can almost smell that pine. Beautiful setting.
No smell like a pine forest on a warm day. Makes me feel like I'm 10 years old and back in Bend.
With the heat and humidity many of us are suffering through, we envy you and your cool, lovely drive into the mountains.
It's a benefit, for sure.
Love country like that. Especially the overlook in the last photo. You can tell your friend that it is still HOT here.Nice photos Mike.
Yeah, just looked at the forecasts for Ladera Ranch and here, a little warmer during the day there, and a whole lot warmer at night. 80f is bearable when it drops to 45 at night.
I love pretty much every sort of natural place, regardless of what sort of plants grow there.
Such a magnificent landscape you inhabit.
How I miss my sons and our days flyfishing in Montana!
