How I'm Spending My Day

I know I said I'd not be posting till after the election, but I've decided on how I'm spending the day and evening. It won't be following election results, either. It'll involve:

I do plan on waiting until the sun is past the yardarm, just for decorum's sake.

  1. The sun passes the yardarm early, these days. Just saying. I bet you peek and see if you should start earlier, or start packing.

  4. With your surrounding mountains, I'd expect the sun must be about over the yardarm already! Have an enjoyable evening.

  5. Yours is the better plan for election day, Mike. I couldn't help peeking at the numbers this evening. Now it's after 1 a.m. and I feel lousy about America. I will finish my 3rd glass of pinot noir and head for bed.

  6. Mike-I voted and put it out of my mind for the evening. This morning, right after I said, "Oh Sh*t", I thought of you. Don't go. I did not think this could happen and now I'm angry at the eternal optimist side of me.

  7. Well, *uck!

I voted for her, despite my misgivings, and convinced my daughter to change her vote to Clinton from Johnson.

Send us a postcard from wherever you go, Mike.

    (Maybe things will be okay.)
