  1. Perfect! I understand! We fathers note it is going around! I approve, BTW! This dad counsels RELENTLESS RESISTANCE.

  2. I get her feels, for sure. I didn't turn into Mad Max by the weekend but I did spend a lot of time trying to sleep away the next four years. sigh...

    1. That's great that you have the privilege to even think of that. Also, you want to know part of what fueled the Tangerine Nightmare's ascent? Rape culture. Like rating women (pardon me, "girls") on your blog. But whatever, make more witty quips about sleeping through the presidency that will hurt basically everyone but your straight, white, male self. The rest of us don't have time for your fragility. We've got principles, decency, and democracy to save.

--Aforementioned Eldest Daughter, who's going to stay at "Friday" above until we're all equal.

    2. Okay, that was unexpected. But you know what? I challenge to you dig a little deeper on me. Read more of my posts. E-mail me if you wish. Yes, I have made a list of female celebrities I admire. No, I don't know them personally. But it is a HUGE leap from "straight male who finds women attractive" to "sexual predator". You dont know how much empathy I have for all women, or minorities, or LGBTQ people... you dont know my life and I dont know yours. So let's chat, shall we?

    3. When my kids were younger and squabbled, I told them to 'take it outside', in other words not in the house. You guys can chat all you want, just find your own yard.

    4. Dude. You. Rate. Women. On. Your. Blog. I don't need to dig deeper. And I don't need to coddle your white male fragility to gently ease you into the basic human decency of not perpetuating rape culture. If you were really an ally to women, lgbtq people, etc, you would have taken the criticism and dealt with it in your own head, instead of insisting that a woman hold your hand and chat with you about how to stop contributing to my oppression.

    5. Well! Shows how much influence I have with the kids!
Chris, you are on your own. Though for some reason I don't like you much meself.

  3. My wife wouldn't even get off the couch and hardly spoke the day after the election. I knew better than to try and console her.

    1. Yeah, I'm pretty much done suffering fools (as if I ever did?) but especially white dudes. My OKCupid profile basically says, "if you're white, straight, cisgender and male, I'm going to need an essay on privilege before I consider a first date, because all y'all are on your last warning."
