Steve How's life in your area, any of the immigration issues we hear and read about? The last few winters in Montana lulled us; this one is old school. Take care, Mike
An incredible photo! I urge your readers to look at it in a large format. You almost feel the freeze coming off it. Lots of rain here on the California central coast. 3.2 Tuesday-Wednesday. Our yearly total here on the ridge is 15 plus for the year. The sun is a glorious visitor today.
Some of my best memories of my years there, north of you in Marin and Sonoma Counties was this time of the year. The hills so green, glowing damn near. From your entries I gather things are not so simple, clear-cut, as we thought. The abalone sandwich I had for 4 bucks, the abalone the size of a quarter pound burger, was not endless. I'm glad of my time there, I can get semi warm thinking of nights at the Inn in Occidental or the Cotati Caberet.
Though the cold sucks, that is a gorgeous picture! It's been consistently below freezing enough mornings that I'm actually knitting a balaclava-type-thing for myself. Yeah, *I* am going to wear something WARM, made of WOOL, even, on my FACE. Shit is DIRE, yo.
YIKES!
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself it's part of the charm.
DeleteIt's warming up in Arizona. 46 right now.
ReplyDeleteHas the Red Cross been there yet?!?
DeleteI'll bring whiskey
ReplyDeleteYes, antifreeze.
DeleteNever too cold for pool party.
