    1. If I stayed home because of snow, I'd be housebound for 9 months, Joanne.

    1. Did you get hit by this latest weather system sweeping across the greater mid west?

  4. Hope you've got a cozy fire and a supply of hot toddy. When does spring get to your elevation?

    1. Butte isn't a big 'bulb' town, so there aren't a lot of crocus and daffodils to measure the start of Spring. Lilacs, which we have an abundance of, reliably come second week in June.
As I write i'm looking out at around a inch of snow that fell overnight, it'll melt in a day or so, leaving the diminishing large piles from shoveling.
Long story short, snow in May isn't rare, and temps of 70 aren't unheard of either.

  5. Not to be too smug, but it was 83 and sunny at my house today (Georgia). We'll pay for it in July and August.

    1. Even at my advanced age, I'd still rather put up with the winter here than southern temps and humidity. Enjoy your spring.
