17f on the back porch this morning as I was making coffee. The front yard is a god-awful mix of leaves and snow. 4 inches or so of snow, I may not see the grass until April.
Yikes! I didn't care for the cold, but I could deal with it. Snow was beautiful on our lane and woods, but I hated to drive in it and especially hated shoveling it. If I could just sit inside, sip coffee, have soup or stew I might be able to tolerate it. But the idea of 17F and snow is a reason we sought refuge on the California central coast. Stay warm!
Beautiful early snowscape, Mike, but I'm reminded of that scene in the film, "Casablanca", where the hero looks overhead longingly at the plane to Lisbon.
There's a positive. If you can't see the leaves you don't have to rake them!
