Yes, it really does list as a flyfishing blog.......

But it's much, much more. No idea how it exists, most 'fly fishing' blogs are really advertisers for one fishing product or another. Not this one. Virtually all avoid politics. Not this one.

In Seattle for a few weeks....the drive over was through every driving condition I've heard of: ice skating rink, packed snow, downpour rain, visibility of 50", and bright sunshine and blue sky.

Cheers all, and do check out the blog.

  1. My god, that fellow can write. And be close to right, too. We can prevail. Did you catch the sidebar quote: ". . . it does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brushfires in people's minds." ~~ Samuel Adams

    1. PS--Nothing like a drive that consumes your concentration. Well cone.

  2. Well yes that's good. So my nature blog started out with... well that obvious and added nature and travel and adventures canoeing in northern Canada,Montana and....well vertigo, Afib, familiar tremor etc now limit me to short walks with our GSD. Still reminiscing about and past and keeping with my two blogs nd now your link to a real flyfishing blog will keep me occupied to spring and a little wildflower gardening. Thanks, Mike...:)

    1. As to sidebars on a blog...
"As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Another great and glorious day with a downright moron adorning the White House.

  3. Hey there! I followed the link, and I did see some fishing stuff there. I liked his political rants, so I will probably be going back. Thanks!
