The usual, loud claps, no visible (from my window) lightning, half inch of rain, drop of 20 degrees in minutes. Just another afternoon at 6,000 ft in Montana.
One long ago on a Montana mountain range now forgotten my brother and I were above a lightening storm...very weird. Actually, truth to tell I was very scared :)
Well, we beat you. We got five inches last night and then some clear skies and another inch during the mid-day.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen that temperature drop a few times here at 1,000 feet in Ohio.
ReplyDeleteNice picture, very evocative.
ReplyDelete"The usual, loud claps...". Mike, that's the Universe applauding your respiratory fortitude at 6000ft elevation. Outstanding photo!

ReplyDeleteStill waiting, down here.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here now, finally. We need it.
