Unusual to see that in place of being tethered to a cell phone.
Which is what she often is staring at.....
Now that is really good and I would have been doing the same thing at that age... unless I'd already discovered Montana trout fishing...:)
At her age I was getting up at sunrise and biking down to the Deschutes, hunting brown trout.
Good, smart little girl. Though not "little" for much longer.
She's gained more weight in the last 3 months than she had in the previous three years.
She do a good thing. :)
Yep. She's a great kid. Thanks AC.
That was me at her age. Heck, that's me now.
I can well imagine.
Bless her, she reads! I remember visiting a friend in California many years ago and spending many hours reading "Yes I Can" by Sammy Davis Jr.
My kids liked that, and of course Shel Silverstein.
Remember one of my kids spending the entire time at the Grand Canyon reading comic books...
When my wife and I went on road trips she'd have her nose buried in maps of where we were, not at what was going past the windsheild...
Enjoy your visit. Tell here your correspondents are happy to see a young woman her age reading a book!
Wish I could say she spends more time with books than a screen, but......
