I remember reading "Pippi" to our boys at bedtime, then to our youngest --adored and adorable daughter-- when she came into our lives. Other books in your post pic are after my childrearing days but I found "The Wonderful Things You Will Be" on Youtube. Especially like its closing lines:"I'll look at you and you'll look at me and I'll love you, whoever you've grown up to be."
And for boys?
ReplyDeleteY'know, Bruce? I think boys might benefit from these damn much as the girls.
