My neighbors to the south, from Salt Lake City are here for the cold weekend, I think it might have made it up to 6 or so, are having a potluck tonight.
I'm bringing one of the main courses.....served with a baguette from Elliot's "Underground Bakery" here.
Looks like perfect food for cold winter!
ReplyDeleteYep, 'tis. Hope you are well.
DeleteMmm....brats with sauerkraut would be delicious!
ReplyDeleteIf one has a bit of swiss cheese to melt on it, that's not bad either.
DeleteBrats--pure Wisconsin food, in my reckoning. But I see they might have migrated to Montana, too.
ReplyDeleteGermany is where I think of...I lived there for a bit of time, and there is nowhere that does them like the Germans.
DeleteI. Love. Brats.
ReplyDeleteI'm in for a dinner invitation. Any. Time!
No problem. High today was around 7, -16 when I brewed coffee. Check your antifreeze level, and head north.
DeleteNnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiicccccccccccccccceeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!! It ain't a gathering in my town without a potluck.
ReplyDeleteHey Robbie
DeleteWinter get there yet? -16 yesterday am, up to a balmy 10 today as I write. Not much snow yet though, maybe 5 or so inches.
Yeh, winter has finally come. A couple single digit/sub-zero days, and, gratefully, snow. We're starting to build a base. Might go snowshoeing Sunday.
DeleteThose brats look terrific! I think you may have planted an idea for this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI recommend a big Zin or Cab to go with them.
DeleteGawd yes, I'm there.
